Bio

Saeed is a senior Legal Consultant with over 27 years of legal experience. His practice focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, equity capital markets, construction and energy projects, including renewable energy.

He has acted for leading international clients on major acquisitions and disposals, MBOs, joint ventures, divestitures, and corporate structuring and FDI matters. He has also advised major multinationals on a broad range of commercial laws, including government procurement law, employment law, competition law, commercial agencies and franchise law, IT, and IP laws.

Prior to joining our firm, Saeed acted as a senior counsel at Mayer Brown’s affiliated Riyadh office for 3 years, a Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial Practice Group for Eversheds Sutherland International LLP in Riyadh for 8 years, a Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial Practice for Al-Tamimi & Company in Riyadh for 4 years, and before that, he was partner at Hassan & Hassan (Advocates), Lahore, Pakistan.

Saeed is a regular speaker at conferences on the specialist subjects of M&A, private equity and renewable energy, in both the MENA region and internationally. He also regularly features as a contributor to press and leading trade publications in the areas of his expertise.
