Bio

Anas is a partner at JP Legal's Riyadh office, bringing two decades of experience in corporate and commercial law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, takeovers, and equity investments in the Saudi Arabian market.

He has built a stellar reputation for navigating complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring projects. He has a deep understanding of Saudi local regulations, working alongside major Saudi family businesses and multinational companies.

He has advised and represented multinational companies and local Saudi giants such as Siemens GmbH, Anghami, Mercedes-Benz, ENBD Bank, Al Othaim Group, Al Rajhi Investment, Blom Invest Fund, Elie Saab, Apotex, Facebook, and L’Oréal.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Laws at University College London (UCL), and further acquired an LL.M. in Commercial & Corporate Law from UCL.

Anas is currently leading a team of highly skilled attorneys specializing in M&A transactions for multinational clients in the healthcare, finance, technology, and contracting/industrial sectors. He actively advises major Saudi groups and multinational clients on a wide range of corporate and M&A transactions in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. He frequently advises multinational companies on M&A transactions conducted across the MENA region, with a focus on the Saudi and UAE markets.

Prior to joining JP Legal as a partner, Anas held positions at regional and international law firms in Saudi Arabia, advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, and private equity firms on a wide array of cross-border transactions.

Anas sits as an advisory board member for several Saudi and GCC-based holding groups, is a member of the Lawyer Bar Association, and is fully admitted to practice in his jurisdiction.

Anas is a strong believer in giving back to his community and actively supports various pro bono initiatives in Saudi Arabia. He frequently speaks at industry conferences and events, sharing his insights on M&A trends and developments in Saudi Arabia.
